Trace element analysis is carried out by quadrupole ICP-MS and data reduction is carried out in house using multiple independently calibrated internal standards. Precision for most elements is 2-3%. Solid sample analysis is achieved using a laser ablation system (Resolution Excimer laser) in conjunction with an ICP-MS used excllusively for laser analysis, yielding precision of better than 3% for most elements.

Laser Ablation (LA)-ICP-MS

Laser ablation (LA) inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has been widely used as a powerful analytical technique for solid micro sampling analyses in geological, biological, environmental, nuclear, and metallurgical applications.

Hydride Generation (HG)-ICP-MS

The determination of Arsenic (As), Selenium (Se), Tellurium (Te), Antimony (Sb) and Bismuth (Bi) can be carried on by hydride generation (HG)-ICP-MS.

Desolvating (DV)-ICP-MS

The Aridus desolvating sample introduction system incorporates a low-flow, fluoropolymer nebulizer (T1H) with performance equivalent to or better than higher flow concentric nebulizers.
